Standard of Contact
Students are expected to act in an orderly and respectful manner, maintaining Biblical standards of social courtesy, moral behavior, acceptable language, and honesty. Students are expected to refrain from the following: cheating, swearing, stealing, smoking, gambling, drinking alcoholic beverages, sexual activity, and use of narcotics. We also have a low tolerance for mumbling, moaning, groaning, and complaining. Students who participate in and discuss such activities at school are subject to suspension. Students must agree to strive toward unquestionable attitude, character, and conduct, and have a desire to learn.
Any student who observes questionable activities or overhears conversations contrary to the policies of this academy should immediately discuss the matter with a supervisor or school monitor. This is not considered tattling. James 4:17: “Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.”
Each student is to keep their desk and the area around their desk neat and clean. Each day one or more of the students will have the task of vacuuming the classroom, vacuuming the halls and/or cleaning the bathroom. This contributes to a clean environment, and ensures that we are all working together to keep our area clean.
Students are not to use another student’s desk or any of the contents of that desk without their fellow student’s permission. Students are asked to keep their hands off of other students’ property unless they receive permission from the owner of that property.
All students are to keep the volume to a controlled level. Other people are working in the areas around us, please be considerate of them.
If a student has a problem with a fellow student they are not to try and handle the problem themselves. They should contact a supervisor or school monitor, explain the problem, and ask for help in solving the problem.
- Quotas will be given to each student, and the daily quotas must be met as assigned
- All subjects must be done as assigned daily (no skipping around or doing large amounts of one subject while neglecting others)
- School comes first. If your daily quotas are not met by the beginning of another function, school is first (this is including work)
- All work will be turned in daily with no exceptions
- School will only be extended to the end of June. Any work not completed by then will be considered incomplete and will affect your grade
The above rules will not be compromised or changed without the school administrator’s consent.
